Virtual Handheld OSC Beta 1.1 Patch Notes

VH OSC Beta 1.1 (2025-02-03)

Beta Update Summary:

This patch fixes a known issue where the chatbox notification SFX would play every time the chatbox refreshed. This was due to the parameters mistakenly being sent as integers instead of the non-standard boolean type tags that VRChat expects.

Note:

The parameter name for the handheld toggle by default is "VH/Handheld_On". That makes the full OSC address "/avatar/parameters/VH/Handheld_On". If you would like to change the parameter name, you can manually edit the JSON-formatted osc_config.txt file in "<user>/My Games/Virtual Handheld/OSC/" with a simple text editor.
